Reggae for the People
Michael Franti’s music has been a longtime staple for alternative/progressive radio stations. His socially conscious rap/hip-hop tends NOT to be played alongside Drake, Flo Rida, Soulja Boy-the flavor of the month rapper. He’s more known for his politics than his music. Imagine my surprise when I heard “Say Hey (I Love You)” being introduced by Ryan Seacrest on America’s Top 40. It’s a joyous,reggae/rap love song. It has a real beat to it–and it’s upbeat. It’s nice to see Franti finally getting the mainstream appeal he deserves. He’s done an album about capital punishment,a documentary about bringing music to Israel and Iraq, he’s performed with the likes of Iggy Pop– and now he’s made it!
Quality recording, fun song
This is a quality recording of this song…and this is a really fun and upbeat song! I downloaded it to blast immediately after our wedding reception – people loved it!
I’m dancing as I type this!
How can you NOT love this song! It’s a reggae, rockin’ rhapsody to love and it gives me happy feet. Try it, you’ll like it!

His best track on his sophmore album
This song has a “michael jackson” flavor to it that makes you wanna sing along with it. It’s his best track on his sophomore album. I wish he could have kept that upbeat tempo throughout his entire cd…It would have made him a star.

Refreshing, relaxing, and heart warming
I listened to this CD for the first time, and I just really enjoyed it. All the songs are fresh and new but sound so natural because they are Keith urban music, sound, and rhythm. Some artists’ CD sounds so different from one another, but I think all Keith Urban CDs have some trusted style – Keith Urban style.
Then, I listened to this CD over and over, and some of the songs are getting my new favorites, not only Sweet Thing, but also “I’m In”, and “Kiss a girl”, etc. I think this CD is refreshing, relaxing, heart warming to me. I will keep listening to it for many more times and am not sure whether I will ever get board.
Thank you for reading my comment and sorry for my bad English, I am a Japanese living in Tokyo. I thought I am so unlucky because Keith Urban concert never hit here. But lucky this time, because of the time zone I was able to listen to this new album a day before those who live in the States 
Another Great Listen
If there is one thing I can say about KU, it’s that he is consistent. His releases are full of energy, insightful lyrics, great guitar riffs and heart. “Thank You” is going to get a lot of play at weddings…sort of KU’s “Lost in the Moment” by Big & Rich. I was surprised by the drum loops used in some of the songs…I guess Chris McHugh needed a rest from all of the work the past year (KU, Little Big Town)…LOL. KU speaks highly of Radney Foster often, so it’s nice to see “I’m In,” a crowd favorite of Radney’s fans, covered.
There are a huge number of commercial hits on this release so, no doubt, this will be a huge success. His shows are fantastic (I saw him in Los Angeles on the VIP tour Friday night at the HOB) – he’s deserving of “Entertainer of the Year” given 140 nights a year at two to 2-1/2 hours a night. If you haven’t seen him – you must. Enjoy!
AMAZING!
Keith does it again! Another great album, every song sounds like a hit. How does he manage to do this with every album? It’s rare to find an artist who can do this. Most albums only have a few good songs, but with Keith’s albums every song is either good or great. Can’t wait to see him in concert May 15 in Chicago!

Great song- terrible tacked on beginning
I love this song but was crushed to download it and find a nasal hillbilly-style verse tacked onto the front. It’s very random and very annoying. If it was at the end I could deal with skipping it but I am REALLY bummed. I have to pay for a whole other song to get rid of it
