BIG,STOMPIN’, BLUES ROCK!
Great band, not a bad song on the album. I am really amazed that they are still relatively unknown. $5.99?! That is a great price for so much damn good music. If you like The Black Keys, or White Stripes, you will dig this! PLUG-Check out Dan Auerbach’s new album too!

London debut combines glam/psych Indie garage rock with some hard-edged guitar and
distortion-damaged blues lines in a place where melody-strewn verses collide with rumbling,
riff-driven choruses. Hanging out somewhere among White Stripes, the Kills, Duke Spirit,
Queens Of the Stone Age, Black Keys.
One of the best this year…
Wow, this is the one of the best alt-rock albums I’ve heard in a long time. There’s not really a bad song on the entire record, with some real standouts. Cold Fame is probably one of my favorite rock ballads of all time and I can’t stop listening. $5.99 is a steal and I’ll be following this band in the future.

Wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Kinda sad that we are entertained by such drivel. Have to say the initial impression is catchy, but once you start clueing into the lyrics, it makes you sick to your stomach. I guess it’s the lowest common denominator. Can’t we have a great song and brilliant danceable arrangement? I’m really disapointed. It seems that everyone just accepts this as normal. Sad and depressing.
the end of western civilization
well…all civilizations have to go sometime…and, i guess, its our turn. i find this song to be an essential work in rap. the compositional form is stripped to a bare minimum of elements, however the sonic structure remains ‘hyped’. soulja’s use of language decays into some cross between rasta rude and urban zip in an endless repetition of vapid vaingloriousness uphear inda houz…ahh, me lik it be’n dis way, yo. (who need d queen anyway…or the OED.) yeah boiieee…godda go now…wait until this becomes ‘classical music’!
Talent in question
I have never reviewed a song on here but just had to review this one, especially after all the comments I have heard, especially from die-hard, avid hip-hop fans. In my opinion, the only thing good about this song is the beat, and no doubt it’s a good beat. The credit should go to the producers. The lyrics just prove it takes no talent to make a song like this. It lacks originality, and it’s sad to see someone can make a lot of money from repetitive chants with no meaning. I gave it three stars, although I would give the instrumental version five.

At the end of the day you should make a decision that will make you happy. Try to follow your heart.
So whether you are planning on buying round bathroom mirrors or any type you need to take all the necessary precautions otherwise you might fall prey to all the unscrupulous sales reps who are taking advantage of inexperienced buyers.

Historic, phenomenal, high praise…..
One of the best songs ever written, period. Baker Street is a sweeping gesture, attempting and succeeding in bringing the banal, “I’m gonna give up the booze and the one night stands,” in line with a sweeping sax line that transcends all. Will he “settle down, in a quite little town and forget about everything?” One doubts it, but there is salvation in music nonetheless, and a though “he’s rollin’, he’s the rollin’ stone” we have to give credit where effort is made. There is hope for our wounded hero. Gerry Rafferty has written an beautiful, haunting song.
Historic, Phenomenal, a Classic
Gerry Rafferty’s song “Baker Street” introduces us to an everyman anti-hero. “And then you’ll settle down, in a quiet little town and forget about everything.” But not all is well and settled. “He’ll always keep movin’, you know he’ll always keep moving, cause he’s rollin’, he’s the rollin’ stone.” Despite the pedestrian-level encounter with one of ours, the saxophone lifts us and our hero higher, it transcends the bounds of these confines, and therein lies the genius of the song. A fabulous, exciting and relevant song even now…
