I saw these guys with Stryper in LA in Nov ‘09 and they kicked ass! Great voice, arrangements and musicianship. I bought two of their CD’s.

even old guys like it!!!
Been listening to music ever since Jimmy Hendrix was alive and this guy is one of the best singer songwriters I have heard. The message in his music is very powerful! My first CD was Yell Fire, after that I bought everything he has put out – truely a very gifted artist that appeals to all ages (I’m pushing 60).
Spearhead’s BEST Album by far!
Michael Franti and Spearhead have outdone them selves with this album produced in Jamaica! Rockin fun songs full of love and anger about injustice and a message of peace that sound awesome!!!
This album is worth buying! I love almost all the songs which is rare with any album or band! I don’t listen to much reggae, this is so much more than that. You can even hear even some Eminem influence in the song Future.
If you like Spearhead or Michael Franti at all, you should definitely pick this one up… you will be impressed!!!
If only radio would play it, instead of the JUnK music thats empty and lame! All Rebel Rockers is the best CD I have bought since Rage Against the Machine debuted!
A must for all Spearhead fans
I can appreciate that this may not be his best recording. Personally I like “Stay Human” and “Yell Fire” and I had a hard time imagining how he was going to top or follow “Yell Fire”. A lot of the same influences are on this recording – almost like it picks up where that left off. Still – there is enough great music on this to make it worthwhile – and every time I listen to it I find something new to appreciate. Michael Franti is the modern day revolutionary song writer of our time – just like the Clash were in the 80’s. I think his message is beautiful and thought provoking. This is worth buying for “Nobody Right, Nobody Wrong” alone.

Beautiful Ear Kandi
One of a number of beautiful songs from One eskimO, Kandi is a reworking of the great soul song “He Called Me Baby” by Candi Staton, but from the point of view of the heartbroken lover who’s been cheated on. Candi is sampled in the song to great effect.
I strongly recommend you get the whole album, and also check out their award-winning animated videos and their note-perfect live performances on YouTube. You’ll find many tender and soulful songs that have subtle hooks that grow on you over time.
I do worry that these guys will struggle to find enough audience to quietly listen and let these songs work their magic.
Load this, and the rest of the album, up on your iPod (maybe add The Script’s album) and go take a long walk… You’ll end up in some really nice places.
Kandi by One eskimo
First time I heard this song on 93.9 I thought it was Bono and U2. I had to know and found out it was Kandi. It’s a very catchy song, albeit very repetitive. It’s one that can be listed to by most, and I bet you’ll think it’s Bono, too!
The rest of the album isn’t bad, either.

Beware the multiple versions
It pains me to give this only 4 stars. I genuinely believe this group is one of the most important breakthrough acts of recent times but this CD and the Deluxe version offered by i Tunes are reworked versions of All Balloons which is the raw stuff, vocals, acoustics, background vocal harmonies and absolutely brilliant. The newer versions have extras added – unnecessary male vocals over the female response in Kandi, Heavy guitar in UFO which totally masks the original ‘out of this world’ recording. Some tracks are the same Simple Day to name but one, Chocolate is nearly the same except it was Choclate (sic): Other tracks are not on the newer versions – Giving Up is more indicative of the new approach and Hi Low and in Between which is a bonus on the ‘Deluxe’ version is worth the price of the whole download let alone the .99c option on i Tunes. BUT find All Balloons if you can – it is as exciting a debut as I have heard and without any of the post production tinkering which adds nothing to any of the original tracks at all.

Saw these guys open for Tori Amos in Salt Lake City. AMAZING live! I went out to get the EP from the merch booth during the intermission and the guys were standing around talking to people and signed the disc for me. Really nice guys! This cd is awesome. I’d never heard of them before the Tori show. This is why it rocks to have good openers for the people you’re going to see play. We get a new band to like, and they get our money. 
Excellent first album
I saw this band when they opened for Tori Amos in Minneapolis. I’ve been waiting for this album’s release, listening to the EP Kandi. I must say the the album does NOT disappoint. Good stuff.
