Tactical Tomahawk looks like a hatchet or an axe with a straight spear and it its origin is in North America.European Colonials also used it for hand-to-hand battle. In The Beginning, it possessed a stone head, but brass or iron heads wereapplied more later. Tomahawk heads made of metal were in the beginning used as in trade for exchanging food and other supplies with Native Americans.
The stone was normally stiffened to a wooden handle in a few ways, like setting the stone through the hole in the wood or attaching the stone to a handle. Native Americans used to bury a hatchet when peace treaty had been attained with an foe and the phrase “to bury the hatchet” comes from this custom and it is still regularly used today.
Tactical Tomahawk spear is normally less than one metre long and it is was in the first place made from maple or ash. Measured from toe to hand, the edge is usually for inches long. Tactical tomahawk heads made of stone were in the beginning made of polished soapstone and applied in traditional Native American rituals. They besides had a pipe bowl used forsmoking tobacco through the tomahawk. This weird pipe also appeared in its metal versions. Pipe tomahawks are North American artifacts sometimes as well produced by Europeans for trade purposes or as diplomatic gifts.
The original purpose of tactical tomahawks has been lost and they are at present used just in sport called tomahawk throwing entertained only among American historical re-enactment groups. There is also a category within a competative sport in knife throwing where tactical tomahawks are applied for this function instead of knives. A small number of professional craftsmen in US can really hand made hawks that remind of the orthodox tomahawks in every aspect.
In 2001 American Tomahawk Company making a collaboration with professional custom knife makers gave the Vietnam tomahawk which has become very popular since then. These modern day hawks had wooden handles and a leather sheaths. The US forces used it during the Vietnam war and hence the name Vietnam tomahawk.

I think this one will be a hit.
I prefer his up beat songs to his slower songs and I think this one is typical Alan Jackson style. With that being said, it should hit the charts and climb quickly, if radio gives it any airtime.

Can’t get enough of this song.
I heard this song in a bar a long time ago and loved it. I could never figure out who it was until MIA started getting popular. This song is fantastic.
Flying away
MIA’s “Paper Planes” has brought this famous Sri Lankan rapper into the public consciousness because it’s featured in the “Pineapple Express” movie. The video has also faced censorship because of MIA’s juxtaposition of gunshots and cash registers. MIA has also claimed that she’ll retire from the music business.
In “Paper Planes”,MIA critiques xenophobic views of immigrants that see them as thieves and killers. It’s got a catchy rhythm; MIA is creative in her use of percussion. It’s not the usual rap song in some ways… thankfully. Unfortunately,it’s not that exciting a song, despite the theme. It becomes repetitive. MIA’s Sri Lankan roots are hidden. It’s not a particularly memorable song. It flies, but it doesn’t fly high.
Best Of M.I.A.’s Songs
M.I.A.’s Paper Planes, from her sophomore album Kala is the best song you will ever hear. It is just phenomenal. It’s fun and easy to listen to, but it still delivers powerful vocals and great beats.

Stop and Listen
OneRepublic’s “Stop and Stare” is a mesmerizing little hit. Even the accompanying music video, in which Ryan Tedder is contemplating birth and death, is equally hypnotic. The lyrics seem trite with “stop and stare/ I’m going but I don’t know where.” On the surface, it’s uncreative, but it’s a threnody. The rhythm, along with Ryan’s melancholy singing, draws you in.
“Stop and Stare” is serious for a pop song. It’s not the usual “why don’t you love me?” or “let’s make love” let alone the “you don’t love me,so I’m angry.” It’s about being reflective, and the problems of the unexamined life. Philosophical, for a pop song. On a less serious note, it should be used for making tribute videos to actors whose style consists of blank looks.
Stop, Stare, and Buy
OneRepublic’s current phenomenon, “Stop and Stare” which seems like it’s fixin’ to crack the top 10 of the carts, and for good reason. The song has a very nice structure, starting off slow, before building up to, and taking off at the chorus in an unexpectedly amazing effort, that could be the highlight of their CD. The song also works surprisingly great in a totally acoustic form, as well as its original modern/alt rock form.
So overall, a great song from a great band, and certainly one of their, if not their best song. Now support the band, and bring this song to the top of the charts!
Not the biggest OneRepublic fan but this is a great song
I heard this song when some girl made it through to Hollywood on this season of American Idol, and I wanted to know what it was called so I can download it. I found it and it’s a very good track from this band. 5/5

I Weep Like A Child Every Time Hearing This Song!
Where do I begin? Chris Tomlin has pierced my heart with his unending love for spreading the message of what is written in the bible. This man is amazing and he knows which songs really tug at the heart too. I was saved on May 25, 2009. I broke down got on my knees and begged for forgiveness. I was living a life full of hatred and salfishness. I am so glad that Jesus never gave up on me. I felt his presence when I got on my knees. I was crying a lot that night too. This was better than winning the lottery, being saved and looking forward to the new earth. I keep hoping for the non-believers that they will be saved as well.
Awesome!!!!
What an awesome song!! I’m sad at the one-star reviews for this song, because their complaints have only to do with Amazon and not the music. If you can’t find the song on your computer, just e-mail Amazon, don’t give the song a poor rating, sigh… Thanks, Chris, for another masterpiece!
i will rise…
Wow!! Great song from Chris Tomlin. Gives a sense of how we will rise in the end.

What better title…MASTERPIECE!
I’ve been listening to this on repeat for about a week (give or take) since it leaked. I liked it so much I went out to buy it today and ended up spending an extra $6 on the double disk. (Which is worth it the 11 tracks on the bonus disk are all very good) I immediately was able to relate really well and loved the socially consciousness of the music. It almost gives you a Marvin Gaye feel. He makes a 70’s style of music seem very current today. To me, what makes this album so great is the strong message that’s involved with every song.
“Bulletproof” needs no intro, in an industry filled with cheating & heartbreaks, it definitely brings a new flavor and gives you something to think about. It was a very creative song, you can tell Raheem Devaughn really dug deep in order to write a song like that.
“Greatness” is a “great” track, as a big Wale fan, I didn’t think he would do well on a song like this but he really showed off. This song could be like an anthem to women everywhere.
“I Don’t Care” is a song that really jumped out at me, another song that has a good meaning and great sound. It describes those relationships (I think we’ve all had on like this) where it seems like theres more people in the relationship than just 2 people because everyone tries to have an opinion or say so in the relationship
“Black & Blue” is probably my favorite song on the album. I know soooo many women that are in this situation but don’t remove themselves from their abusive situations because they believe that’s how their man shows love, dead wrong. I now have a song to play for them, hopefully Raheem Devaughn can get through to these women.
“Mr. Right” is a great song, very positive, hopefully songs like this one can motivate certain men that refuse to grow or mature. “Fragile” is definitely a “Raheem Devaughn style” song. Its what you would expect from a Raheem Devaughn song. If you got in a friends car and they were playing this song, you would immediately know this was Raheem Devaughn, which is something I can’t say for a song like “Bulletproof”. That is another thing that makes this CD so great, Raheem shows off his versatility and really brings a diverse sound on just about every song.
“My Wife” is a great song! One of the motto’s I’ve always used is “I’m not looking for a boo, wifey, girlfriend, or any of that…I’m looking for someone with the characteristics of a WIFE” that motto basically describes this song. Moving past all the labels and making it official.
“B.O.B” is such a creative song!!!!!! “Battery Operated Boyfriend”, all of us men have heard women rave and talk about them…but Raheem Devaughn puts a nice spin on it…he describes that “BOB” can’t run your bathwater, tell you he loves you, kiss you, tell you he misses you, etc. Plus, BOB’s batteries run out…EXTREMELY CREATIVE SONG!!!
“Bedroom” adds to the diversity of this album, you have songs that are socially conscious, love songs, a woman’s anthem, and this puts a “freaky” twist to everything….a track like this is a must have for every R&B album!
“Microphone” is a subliminal style song, similar to “Customer”, make it seem like your talking about one think, when you’re actually talking about something else. Raheem Devaughn has said before that he can write songs like this in his sleep. It shows what a creative genius he is because this doesn’t seem like an easy song to pencil. “Garden of Love” is has a throwback feel, like i said above, he makes an old school sound, sound very current. He does it very well on this song.
“Nobody Wins in War” is another socially conscious song. Very deep and has a great sound. The moral of the song is “A soldier never wins a war, they only give their life” Its a song that definitely will give you some food for thought.
“Revelations” is a song featuring Damien Marley that is also very conscious. It’s recorded over Jay-z’s “Can I LIve” instrumental and throughout the song he questions “Can I Live?” just as Jay-z did on his version. Just like Jay-z’s version of the song, this is a great song. Damien Marley does very well on this song
Out of every song on this CD there is not ONE song that I skip or don’t listen to, its seriously flawless. I’ve seen it got a 10/10 by a couple of the websites that had reviewed the album and I personally cannot argue with that rating at all. This is a CD I will listen to for 10 years. This will be universally known as a classic album!
Raheem DeVaughn’s best album
Raheem DeVaughn released his third album “The Love And War MasterPeace” and judging from the title, one would think that it’s an album full of social commentary. Actually, only three songs are geared towards that topic- the Ludacris assisted “Bulletproof”, the song “Nobody Wins A War” (which has a guest list longer than the average DJ Khaled song), and the closing track “Revelations 2010″ which samples Jay-Z’s “Can I Live”. Most of the production on this album is handled by Masters At Work alumni Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez, who was also responsible for Raheem’s debut single “Guess Who Loves You More”. Orthodox & Ransum, who produced his biggest hit “Customer”, return for the song “Mr. Right”. Lil’ Ronnie, who did R. Kelly’s “I’m A Flirt”, contributes two songs, “Microphone” as well as the domestic violence themed “Black And Blue”. On the song “B.O.B.” he sings about wooing a woman who is too attached to her sex toy (The acronym stands for Battery Operated Boyfriend). The Ne-Yo penned “I Don’t Care” warrants a few spins- even if it does sound a lot like Robin Thicke’s 2008 single “Magic”. For as lengthy as this album is, surprisingly, it contains no filler. In short, this album is Raheem’s best by a landslide.
The time to Love has always been NOW
Good music. I love the fact that he has made a cd to uplift and spread out the message of love for yourself and others. When it is fashionable to not be comfortable with who you are because mass media is alawys pushing how imperfect you are to have you buy the latest product or service this cd stresses the imporatnce of standing for something called love for yourself as you are. Also Cornel West does a masterful job stressing the importance of getting back to basics and simply loving and having compassion for humanity and to quit being indifferent to other peoples suffering. This cd is long over do and Im more than glad to support it.

Classic slow dance song…
A good slow dance to dance with your wife / girlfriend too.
Nice slow riffs from Clapton, takes us how a husband had a bit
too much to drink, and his devoted wife helps him home.
