LOVE this track but I’m a bit confused
I own the vinyl album copy (as pictured here)of this recording, entitled “The Best of the Runaways”. Just to set the record straight, while it is a serious kickazz song, no where on this album is the cut, “Cherry Bomb”. (If memory serves me that is from the first album)

Nice rendition of THE holiday song…
Great voices, nice blend of instruments. A really nice take on one of the most recognized holiday classics. Thanks Amazon.
Now that’s more like it!
Thank you Amazon for finally giving us a more traditional Christmas song. This is just another take on the Classic Silent Night, but I think it will soon become my favorite. It’s instrumentally sparse which can be good or bad but these guys have great voices. I will definitely be listening to this next year and many years to come. =)

House of Heroes’ SILENT NIGHT started ordinary, then split into beautiful harmony which makes a good Christmas carol GREAT! I like it a lot!

What a Jip!
The soundtrack is quite good, except they left out “I Love Playin’ With Fire” with Kristen Stewart on vocals. One of my favorite songs and scenes from the movie. I’m disappointed about that to say the least.
Great songs spoiled by LOUD remastering
Why are CDs mixed so loud these days? I just wish the producers of this CD had shown some restraint. The mix is so lound — particularly on “Roxy Roller” — that the bass and drums are distorted. Too bad because otherwise this is a great collection of songs. Even the Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart re-recordings are really enjoyable!
An album to remember
This item is not totaly what I expected but I do enjoy some of the songs on it. If you grew up with this group as I did, the music helps you understand where the girls were coming from at this point in time. If not you might just want to listen to a bunch of girls trying to play headbanger music. Either way it’s a cool soundtrack.
