Raisin’ more than a Ruckus!
This time the big band from the small state Rhode Island have done more than Raised a Ruckus. They turned a lot of heads also! Great big sound and a new member! The new lead vocalist Dave Howard, is the bands newest addition to never ending extreme talents of the bands musicianship. And also in the list of big sounding blues bands line-ups on today’s scene. The newest collaborations of all the members of this talented band is highly spotlighted with this great projects release! I’m sure you will fine many cuts on here to move to while you listen to it. Paul Rodgers is one of the greatest voices in rock-roll. No fall off from the 1970’s until today. Incredible. You can’t go wrong with the original Bad Company…unless you are into “today’s” music. If that is the case, go get some of that mind-rot rap or bubblegum pop (and try to remember the names of these people because in 5 years, no one else will).

All right! Another free MP3 sampler from Amazon, this time from InsideOut, the premiere label for progressive metal. InsideOut is host to (or has hosted) pretty much all of the top tier prog metal bands that emerged after Dream Theater, Queensryche and Fates Warning established the genre.
This sampler features 12 songs from new (or relatively new) InsideOut releases. You get songs from established names like Symphony X, Devin Townsend, Ayreon, Pain of Salvation, Kings X, Shadow Gallery, Tangent and Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie (this one’s nothing new, though), as well as newer artists Redemption (featuring Fates Warning’s Ray Alder), OSI (another Fates Warning side project), Riverside and Aspera. The music ranges from straight progressive rock to full-on progressive power metal, but it’s all very high quality stuff.
If you’re at all interested in progressive rock and metal, this is a can’t miss offer. 12 songs by the best artists in the genre are yours at the click of a mouse.

Download it. It’s free. Heavy rock. I downloaded it just to get the King’s X song. It’s a cut above all the other songs in my opinion. Been a King’s X fan for a long time.

The Script brings a great flow to a rock sound that is easy to listen to and catchy. The lyrics are well-written..and this track here, while the first to get stuck in my head.. and is an awesome track..isn’t even my favorite. The album is pretty good. Great everyday rockin music. check it out!
